On August 28, 2018, I received news that I am now a Diabetic. This was hard news for me since complications of diabetes took my mother from this world 22 years ago. I was devastated to hear the "D" word thrown at me. I started eating Low Carb the very next day and researched the internet, found support groups on facebook (found out fast that Keto people can be rude and ruthless; to me this is a way of LIVING, not a way of dropping weight off of me fast, my goal is to control the diabetes, live healthier, and LIVE) and made a post on facebook to find out so many of my friends do this WOE. I was then referred to carb manager and here I am.
