Re: Maggie. I am in my 85 th year, trying to get off diabetic drugs. Have lost 22 lbs, fasting 16 hrs a day, just hope my a1c is good That is so great. I used to work in an Endocrine Clinic and it is so amazing how powerful a proper diet is in controlling the DM. I wish more people would finally accept that diet is the first line… -

I am a nurse practitioner that got fat and lazy, LOL. I have decided to get back on track and follow what I teach to my patients. After peaking at my heaviest weight ever during summer of 2018 I have committed to getting back on track to a healthier lifestyle so I can be a role model for my kids and my patients.
