Re: Diabetic Type 2 I’m on metformin do I need to do anything differently on the Keto Diet I have 45lbs to lose, been doing this diet 5 days Hi Tonks, I am 1 week into Keto. I am Type 2 and take metformin once a day. My goal is to get off of this medicine and others that I take. Good luck on your journey
