Cholesterol is actually way more dynamic than we've previously been lead to believe. We can actually cause our numbers to change drastically with what we eat in just the 3 days leading up to a test.β¦

@Joanna Sounds like you're doing really great. Yes, you are intermittent fasting by skipping breakfast and eating only between lunch and dinner hours. This is good for our insulin levels.β¦

@Joanna Keep in mind that really early on (until fat adapted) you do need to heap the fat on. This somehow helps your body to get into that fat adapted state.β¦

I agree with It's been my experience and most Keto people I know that 20 net carbs should keep just about anyone in ketosis. Some people are actually able to go quite a bit higher,β¦

Trust how you feel. You'll be weak at first while you're adapting to using fat for energy as opposed to carbs. Once adapted you'll feel strong and will just want to work harder.β¦

@badmojomn I have since asked for confirmation on ketone waste vs use from another forum. According to that, the ketones expelled in urine and breath are waste whereas the ketones in blood are stillβ¦

Yes, definitely with the flu add some salt. I like to drink broth. I don't care for bone broth. (I remember @badmojomn doesn't like it either.) Instead I just make beef bouillon.β¦
