I had a couple parties and had way over my daily carbs, didn't lose any weight but didn't gain which was great, went back to it and started losing like I never stopped. I do keep up my water intake.

Definitely read labels, log what you eat and plan ahead to stay on track. I meal prep for 3 days at the time. I would not be able to stay in the diet if i wasn't ready for all meals.
