Dr Berg states that carbs from vegetables don’t count. If you don’t get enough leafy green vegetables in your diet your liver will become fatty from eating all the fat with nothing to help clear it…

Yes, there are carbs in spinach... about 8-9 grams per 6-7 cups. Even eating this much, I’ve had no issues staying at 20 grams carbs per day. I have another 87 lbs to lose.…

Just finished 7 weeks...
And down 21.5 lbs! Still doing 6 -7 cups of spinach a day, moderate protein and high fat. Walking 3 miles a day with the dogs. I feel SO GOOD! So much more energy. Keep at it!

@badmojomn 6 cups of spinach is about 7carbs... vegetables and my heavy cream in my am coffee are the only carbs I eat, and I never have trouble staying at 20-25g a day.…

Almost 50 yr old (in two months) wanting to get fit.... busy, like we all are. Work full time behind my computer. Married 14 yrs with a 10 ur old dtr and 2 active labs. Walk 3 miles a day... 6 weeks into this new lifestyle and I LOVE IT!
