How do I get more fiber in my diet?

Hi, I’m a newbie!!  Today is day 1. I tracked, met my protein, fat & carb goals, but failed getting enough fiber, F!!  Any suggestions?  I have to have a major surgery in September & I need to lose 30 lbs & get my BP down.  Can I continue to walk?

    Hi, welcome.  I get fiber from spinach, kale, romaine lettuce, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, avocado, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, macadamia nuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, raspberries, blackberries etc.

     Make sure you get plenty of water and sodium the first couple of weeks to avoid dehydration.  Add electrolytes if you need to.  I started adding more physical activity in the second week, but if you are already walking, I would try to continue.  Good Luck

    Thanks for this, I had the same question. Not new to low carbs, but macros can get confusing. I love this app. Have to work on my fiber intake. I get tired of the salads.
