Do you test your blood sugar levels? There could be any number of reasons. Some of the more common are:
1. Hidden carbs causing a spike in insulin
2. Too much protein also causing an insulin response
3. Too many calories in
(regardless of what weight loss regime you choose a calorie deficit helps in weight loss)At the very least get some ketone test strips to test the ketone levels in your urine. If there are no ketones detected or very low then most likely your insulin levels are staying too high for ketosis to start.
