That is so great. I used to work in an Endocrine Clinic and it is so amazing how powerful a proper diet is in controlling the DM.  I wish more people would finally accept that diet is the first line of "medicine" for treatment.  Keep up the great work!!

  • Hi Maggie. Hello from Bussels. I was browsing the forum and I stumbled on this post. It has been a month now and I was wondering how you are doing? Do you have your blood sugar under control without the drugs? Wish you a good recovery!

  • Fantastic, Maggie!!  I started on this diet last Thanksgiving when my Internist told me my A1C was too high. I've lost 21 lbs so far, and will see her in 1 month. Here's hoping she will be very please with my progress and my A1C will be in line. I know it was those nasty carbs who were the culprits!

    How's your A1C doing?
