Lunch chkn salad or chipolte no rice or beans
Dinmer meat,with cheesy veggie

Is this a true keto plan?
I hope you all have a great Friday!

klovealllmbl you lost 5 in two weeks is mainly water weight but still excellent. Try to get at least the carb net count figured out. It's a wonderful app. If you want to get serious about blood ketosis get a precision xtra meter for ketones and glucose. You have to buy the lanclets and the injector part but for me totally worth it. As im turning the strips now lighter in color since I'm fat adapted, my blood meter is saying something different. Good luck, and you can do this.

klovealllmbl try less snacking if you can. And don't set yourself up with a dessert each night. Make it a friday night treat if at all. Most of us try to avoid all artificial sugars for a bit or a lifetime. They have been known to induce cravings in some followers. Make some fatty keto soups up and freeze them. You would be amazed at the satisfaction after eating a whole cream soup can carry you through. Taco and bacon cheeseburger is my favorite.

Hi everyone. I am not sure I am doing this correctly as I have never before participated in a forum like this. I am enjoying going keto; however, seem to sabotage myself all the time, usually at the end of the day or when I am feeling down. I have noticed that I don’t feel well anymore after eating a lot of carbs. The challenge seems to be the cravings before eating and giving in. Grrrr. Any suggestions?

dlnorthey , what got me through what I think of as my “withdrawal” period was 6 blackberries smothered in heavy whipping cream. I know most keto dieters say to avoid eating at night, but this really got me through. It is sweet enough to satisfy my craving for sweets but the carbs are minimal and good for fat adapting. Now I don’t even need them.

Good morning everyone. I'm checking in for my sanity. I'm going to do the Whole30, while tracking for Keto. Eliminating dairy for me may be significant for sinus issues that I just can't get over. I would like to lose about 50 pounds. I already exercise, know what to eat, but have been derailed through holidays, job stress and travel. I hope to keep it simple, and just do this. I'll be 58 in May and would like to FINALLY be over the weight issue, and get my closet down to just clothes that I wear, not wish I could wear. I'll be going through a major career change in the next month, so that'll have its plusses and minuses. It's exciting, a challenge and what I want to do, but it doesn't make sense to others so it's a little going against the grain. Wish me luck. Thanks everyone for their support.

Well certainly, I'll check in! Doing great - wearing myself out getting the garden ready to plant...I've got seedlings ready to go in as soon as the weather seems like it will co-operate. Keto is awesome...down 28 lbs since mid January. Loving the food, as is my husband, though he's still eating carbs too.
I do have a question about the carb manager community...maybe somebody can answer..I received an email saying a Carb Mgr friend is asking how I'm doing. I can't figure out where or how to answer her!
