Dill Pickles....Good or Bad ??
Hello my Keto Friends, need some feedback concerning dill pickles. I LOVE pickles; been eating alot of them daily and noticed that my weight loss stalled for a few weeks now. In fact, I gained back 3 lbs, even with following the program to a tee. So, I didn"t eat any pickles yesterday and fasted for 17 hours. This morning I weighed and seen that the scale was down 4.2 lbs. HOW ? WHY ? I have only been doing Keto since middle of February, so alot of this is kinda new to me yet. Anyone have anything to share about dill pickles.....are they good or bad??!!?? Take care and Happy Keto Day to you !!

Even if the carb counts are off, I doubt pickles could cause you to gain 3 pounds in a few days (3500 calories above your BMR equal one pound). There is a chance that you haven’t been getting enough water, and then couple that with the large amounts of sodium in most pickles and you could simply have gained some water weight. Not as easy to do while in Ketosis of course, but not outside the realm of possibility. Just my two cents.

It's so nice to have Keto Friends here; other than you all, I don't have any support whatsoever. Nobody I know understands or even agrees with my Keto plan.
