Hi! Former successful keto-er back at it.

Hi all,

 

My name is Logan.  I used to be 363 pounds in 2011 at 6'2 and 22 years old.  Using the induction phase of Atkins (re:keto) I lost 113 pounds in 1.5 years, got to 250lb.  I then found a love for beer and started dating because I found confidence in myself.  Over the following 8 years, I've found myself bouncing between 260 and 300 pounds..  I know how to lose weight, much of the science behind it, but I've continuously failed to maintain my losses.  I'm currently back down to 257 after spending months in the mid 260s while dieting down on a carb-rich diet but stalling again.  I'm finding myself falling in love with keto again.   Most of my favorite foods are keto friendly and I find myself craving food a lot less.  I'm excited for appetite reduction because I'm hungry all the time, lol 

 

Anyway, I'm a proud husband and a father of a 6-month old.  I CrossFit 3-4 times per week (which has been a tough transition.. my body has been extra sore and tired during the first few weeks of ketosis as well as fighting electrolyte imbalances).  I currently also walk 60min/day.   I'm a sales engineer at a local ISP and I'm a big nerd.

I hope to continue this keto journey and get to my goal weight of 220!
