Started with a 5 day water fast...
A friend challenged me to a 5 day water fast. I had a bowl of gumbo at his house for dinner on Sunday 12/1 and didn't eat again until we went for Sashimi Friday night. The fast was a great experience. Now I am down several pounds and decided to maintain Ketosis for longer to see about dropping some more weight.
I am new to the whole concept though. I understand the foods that can be eaten, but a little hazy on how much. Do I need to count carbs, or will ketosis keep burning my fat if I keep eating meals big enough to satiate me? I'd like to drop about 20 lb.
Another thought, what if I combine with 5-2 intermittent fasting?
