Keto sticks are not necessary and a waste of money IMO. Once you have been in ketosis for awhile you will no longer release ketones in to your urine which results in no reading on the sticks. If you are staying below 20 carbs a day you will be in ketosis within the first week. Some symptoms of ketosis are bad breath, change in body smell and a loss of appetite generally occurs. Don't stress over if you are in ketosis. Just make sure you stay below 20 g of NET carbs and go from there. Also be sure to take measurements. Track all your macros and chase fat loss and not ketones! Good luck
