No. Only water counts according to Dr. Jockers.

Coffee can have a diuretic effect. I’m going with a recommendation to add 1.5 cups of water for each cup of coffee, and that’s just to get back to “even”.

  • I went keto 1 month ago today :-) Weigh in was at day 28 and I've lost 12 lbs. I start my day, (breaking a 12-14hr fast) with Bullet Proof Coffee "Supreme".... I call it my POWER COFFEE just by adding some simple spices. I've never had so much energy like in forever. My spring cleaning is DONE!!! Also I follow Dr. Berg a lot and his basic rule of thumb is eight 8oz. of water a day.... Your body will tell you when it's thirsty just like it tells you when you are hungry or full, when you are sleepy or have to pee. I really try to keep it simple. Low carb, high fat and just keep those macros spot on. Works for me... but we are all different right. Oh, I also took 2 smaller mason jars and fill with water, top it up with a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, a splash of lemon, a shake of Himalayan salt and sometimes some cayenne pepper or paprika. I will take some before I ever put anything in my mouth. I eat once a day - I've heard that every time food of any kind hits your stomach, your insulin is spiked.
