How about someone from CM actually starts to take notice of the consumers comments and make some app improvements?

Respond to consumer requests please.

Yeah I'm new to this app and I saw a comment on another post regarding Fasting that said they don't read this. If they don't why the hell is it even here?

I made a suggestion using the in app support system about syncing at least weight but also other stats via the Apple health app like many other apps do.  I had a response from support the next day that they would look into the features. I'm satisfied with the response time. As a developer myself I know new features and turn around for new features can be a long process so I'm not expecting this soon. Just happy they are willing to listen to suggestions.  Overall a very helpful tool only slightly clumsy UI / UX

Thanks for an app that focuses on Keto rather well.

It can be extremely easy or extremely hard.  It depends a about a million things, such as request complexity, whether the current development environment even facilitates the change, programmer availability, and so many more it would make your eyes bleed.

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't sure when I saw someone stated that it was said that it wasn't read. :) Thanks again

Support do respond quickly and politely, no issue with that.   My comment is that changes are not being implemented.

Carb Manager I've been blown away by the number of times I've opened the app and found another new feature has suddenly appeared! Today it was the ability to reorder the items of a meal. The only one I haven't embraced enthusiastically has been the wheel method for entering food quantities and measures -- kind of awkward on the mobile, haven't tried it yet on the computer. Thanks for all your hard work!

  • josie0695 Thanks so much for the note! We try our best. 🙂If you'd like to enter food quantities with the keyboard, you can open a food, then tap the ... button in the top right corner, and select Keyboard Entry Mode.

Carb Manager Wow! Yay! You guys think of everything!

    Question:

For an old person (soon to be 72) I'm relatively computer-savvy. That said, I have no clue as to how I would have known about the keyboard option being available if you hadn't told me or unless I stumbled across it accidentally. Is there some place where CM regularly posts Info about new features like this?

(In my former life I wrote user manuals so I'm big on documentation.)

    Thanks 😊

The wheel that shows fats, carbs, protein and fiber, also needs to show “SODIUM”.  I know I can check this on the nutrition section of CM, but a quick glance at the wheel helps me more. I have experienced an unexplained weight gain of  4lbs  overnight (x2), without cheating at anytime (been on keto 27 days now). I strongly adhere to >10g carbs, 130g>fat, 67g>protein). However, after seeing the weight gain I felt extremely sad and disappointed and like I had failed. I increased my walking to 7 total miles and drank plenty of water.  Then it happened again!  I found out it was the sodium in kimchi, sauerkraut and other pickled (gut healthy) foods together that caused the problem.  I didn’t even think to check the nutrition page. If I would have seen sodium on the wheel I would have automatically started checking it just see what my level was. My problem was unknown water retention secondary to a high sodium level and I don’t even add salt . I don’t even buy it. So after what I explained, I think “sodium” should be added to the wheel (maybe the color yellow for “CAUTION” WATCH YOUR SODIUM! IT CAN SHOW WEIGHT GAIN WHEN YOU HAVEN’T CHEATED!) Thanks!👍😃

Sflamingogirl Agreed. I am 2 weeks into CM and suddenly have a prob with calories being 2-300 adrift from macros. I have twice sent screenshots to Support and twice got a boilerplate reply which does not address the issue. I am not even sure I have not being talking to a bot.

I'm trying to love this app, but it's Sooo slow, and there are way too many errors in the products such as scanning pepperoni and it comes up Italian dressing. I dont have time to correct 80% if the items I scan. For almost $9/month I expected it to be better than MFP, which is only $50/yr. I do like that there are more micronutrients and net carbs, but if MFP were to add these things....
