"Carbing up"

In listening to healthful persuite, she is talking about carbing up every so often, to listen to your body. I would like to know what others have experienced on this. I'm assuming I'm fat adapted by now, 3 month mark. I stopped taking my morning coconut oil in my coffee so my body will fuel of the other fats I ingest, and my own body fat. I'm understanding that eventually my urine sticks may not even read much, if at all once I full am a fat burning machine. I ate some veggie chips with dinner last night, and I'm spuing out urine keystones. I feel like I have to be somewhat of a chemist or biologist at times to understand fully what I'm doing- if I am doing it correctly. My energy seems peeking in the morning.  LOL

Any thoughts out there ?

I would love to know how it goes when you try it. In the meantime, I would only add carbs that are low to moderate on the glycemic index.

  • Carb cycling is mostly for endurance athletes and those looking to gain weight. How is your progress and what are your goals?

Also, listen to your body, not your cravings. I crave pizza and beer all the time, but my body feels like garbage afterward.  Remember that sugar is more addictive than cocaine!

I think they left that part out. About training. I don't train, but healthful persuite is suggesting it and she doesn't excersise. I think she is meaning it's better for thyroid and hormones. And it's not done until fat adapted.  I think I'll try this once a week for now.
