A little help

56 year old male. Started keto June 9. Re-started Carb Manager 2 weeks later (tried another app and it was awful!). Have stuck to Carb Manager calories and macros and anm down 42.5 lbs with 5 lbs to hit goal weight of 205. Here's my issue: at 6'3" and closing in on 205 lbs, I still have some chest fat and love handles. If I go below 205, I'll be too light (for me anyway). I've read about being " skinny fat," which seems to be what I am. They say the cure that fixes this is heavy compound lifting (dead lifts, squats, benching). Any one encounter this problem? Does the compound lifting help? I love lifting, but finding time is tough.

If you stay on Keto for maintenance eventually you will lose those pockets of fat. Weight king never hurts but staying in fat burning mode is key to reshaping your body. Good for you!!

Thanks! I knew what you meant ;o)

What is maintenance through Keto? I read in a few places your not supposed to stay on Keto for more than 6 months?

Plus...I cannot wait to eat a banana, some dates and digs, but am nervous about gaining weight back.
