Meat tastes so dry to me!

Chicken, hamburger, etc all just taste so dry to me.  Does anyone else notice this?  I don't even want to swallow it and have to force it down.

  • Depends what kind. Hamburger should be made with higher-fat meat and dark meat from chicken (like thighs) are much more moist than chicken breast. Meat in stews will be more moist. Beef in stews need more cooking time to be tender whereas steak cooked more than medium rare will be more dry.

  • How do you cook them? I find when I use my air fryer with Aluminum foil (make a pouch it helps make them juicer for me) I’d also try cooking with a pressure cooker or you can Sear the meat in the frying pan and than put it in the oven. (Also try not to puncture the meat while cooking, use thongs to flip over.)

  • Try making meatloaf (and hamburgers) with almond flour. Makes it moist. I don't care for pork, or pork rinds.
