Question about carbs and calories

Hi I buy into concept of low carb  but still confused about how it works in terms of calories. If I eat around 1800 calories a day as I typically do will I achieve the same weight loss if that is achieved eating say 70g carbs as I would if it was 140g carbs? Many thanks

  • You will still lose weight as long as you are sticking to 1800 calories a day. If you increase your carbs you will have to reduce protein or fat to stay at 1800

  • I totally just followed a meal plan in a book I found...made it really easy. It was called the complete keto guide by Amanda Sterling.

calories is most important to look at

it's just 'low carb' makes eating low calories easier

  • The human body digests sugars and carbs into glucose. Glucose causes the pancreas to release insulin.  Insulin makes the liver store glucose as glycogen. Excess glycogen is converted into fat.

I can't make it any simpler than that.
