I’ve been keto for around 14 months: two thanksgivings, two christmas holiday, Easter, etc.
I’ve found it helpful to take a moment and re-examine just why keto was a good decision; I’ve completely reversed my diabetes and am no longer taking any meds. It helps me recommit to what is good for me: low carb, sensible choices, etc. I track my A1C test results so looking at them is a stark reminder of where I was and where I am now.
I’ve also found it helpful to be unapologetic in telling others that I cannot eat like i used to. Everybody understands (and I’ve ‘converted’ a few others to the keto healthy lifestyle). And it’s been a good opportunity to introduce others to some delicious well balanced ketogenic foods.
