It has no calories, and in theory should not break a fast. depending on who you believe, anything that doesn't have protein in it and doesn't have a lot of calories will not break a fast. However there are those who believe that merely the taste of sweetness in your mouth can cause your body to start producing insulin. I'm skeptical of this position, but you should research and see how you feel about it.
