I just tried bulletproof coffee this morning. I was reading online about how awful it was, but honestly I really like it. Hopefully, I did it right, haha. I just got my regular 20oz coffee from my regular convenience store and got some kerrygold unsalted butter and put about 1 1/2 tablespoons in there stirred it around until it melted and put just a little tiny bit of heavy cream in there. I thought it was pretty good. It’s really curbed my hunger to be honest. I’m usually really hungry by lunch now at work and I’m good and it’s really helped me get my fat percentage up, which I think is good? Anyway, just wanted to share! 🤪

Does it have to be Keri gold butter or can I just put regular butter?

I think any butter will do, but I use Kerrygold and ghee.  I use Kerrygold more for adding to my food.

  • Crkwolf  Yeah, I think any butter would be fine. I kinda just wanted to try the kerrygold kind because thats what I keep seeing people online making it with.

Jacqueline West Agreed.  I think it's because it's grass-fed made butter.  At least that's why I chose it.

Yes, the experts suggest using grass-fed butter because it supposedly helps lose weight faster and is healthier. It's so expensive, though!

I too use butter in my coffee to add fat, but I use whipped butter because I think it tastes better and is creamier. I also use coconut oil which is naturally sweet.

Also, I tried unsweetened dutch chocolate Almond Breeze almond milk by Blue Diamond which is much better tasting to me than the unsweetened coconut almond milk in my coffee.
