I started my journey on July 1st 2018, good news and bad news here. Bad news is, after 6 weeks on my diet, my wife of 12 years passed away very suddenly by a blood cloth. So my life was turned upside down.
The good news is, being on my Keto diet for just over four months, I’ve lost 104.6lbs. I know I should be happy but life is not the same anymore. It’s very difficult and now I’m doing my best to live it one day at a time, looking forward and seldom looking back. R.I.P. Andree my luv...
Sincere condolences for your sad loss. I cannot begin imagine your life without your dear wife 🌷.
I am staggered by your massive weightloss in such a short time. Your family and friends will be worried that grieve has really taken hold but I can understand that you need something positive to focus on, a reason to get out of bed. Perhaps your new lifestyle might take you in a new direction, sharing and explaining Keto to others? Congratulations on your weightloss and amazing resilience during what must be the worst thing to have happened in your life.Reply
RhondaH Thanks RhondaH, today makes it exactly 3 months since Andree passed away. The first week was the most difficult, I lost 12lbs just that week alone because I had no appetite. Didn’t think I would last another week without my wife. My body changed, my breathing, my heartbeat. Everything just felt very different in me.
Today I’m a different man, I’m leaning to manage my emotions a lot better, with my huge weight loss I feel healthy and although I’m only taking in an average of 8.6g carbs per day, I do have more energy somehow. I have new routines and am on my way with this new chapter in my life.Reply
