Just can't get into Ketosis. HELP!

Hi folks, I'm just picking the brain of the collective here. I have been on a low carb diet for several years. I lost a total of 120 pounds at first and it was awesome. As some do, I did start to add back some carbs and some "cheat days" and still managed to stay around the same size for several years. This past year, I've gained a few pounds, though still eat relatively low carb. I knew adding back some carbs would likely result in some gain, but I'm not happy about it and decided to go full fledge again, back to the "induction goal" of 20 carbs or less.  I purchased the strips and have been extremely diligent eating carbs totaling only in the low teens each day.  I cannot get that test strip to change colors no matter what.  What am I missing?  Is it more difficult  to get back into ketosis after you loose and maintain for awhile?  I've limited the caffeine and nitrates, I don't eat TOOO much protein (though some disagree on this issue). I eat no "illegal" food and I do try to walk at least 8,000 steps a day.  I'm just stuck!  Advice, experience. tools?  Help me get into the purple again!!!!

I read on another Keto app that the urine strips are not very accurate once your body is Keto-adapted.  Have you lost weight? Are your clothes fitting looser?  Is the brain fog gone?  Maybe focus on other indicators that you’re in ketosis.  Sounds like you’re doing all the right things!
