New cavities on keto!

I haven’t had cavities and 10+ years and only a few over my life. I had three in my last six month check up and I’m kind of seriously bummed out assuming it’s got something to do with keto because I’ve been on keto for 14 months and all of a sudden now I have cavities I’m very concerned any ideas anyone?

Should ask your dentist.  Most web info I see on Keto and cavities says removing the carbs/sugar/acid producers should have the opposite effect.  In fact, articles promote Keto as having positive changes to dental health.  There was some mention of possibly dry mouth from ketosis causing cavities, but that was a one off comment.  I know someone who had surgery which caused permanent severe dry mouth and they are now in a dental nightmare.
