yatesa12 sorry for the delay in replying I have had problems trying to post all day but now happily sorted.
Still listening to Keto Clarity by Jimmy Moore & the evidence in there, that basically our bodies don’t need added carbohydrates as they can make their own, listening to Lectures on YouTube from USA & Australia & lastly following Keto-Christina on YouTube with whom i closely identify as a true addict of sugar & carbs. In a sense I am preparing for the time which will inevitably come, when I eat food not on my Keto plan. If I have always measured total carbs & stuck with my limit I am less likely to go off plan as I don’t have any cravings... but when I do, I can’t kid myself by fudging numbers around net & total.
I totally acknowledge this is my choice, these are my addictions & my desire NEVER to be 289lbs again which I was 14 yrs ago. It was a dark & horrible place that I will never go back to. Today I am 192lbs ~ 170lbs is my goal 510”
I love organic vegetables and my plan is to add more & more back but in my own time & in a controlled blood glucose & blood ketone testing way. I never want to regain these 40 odd pounds again! I really like Leanne at Healthful Pursuit & how laid back she is but she eats some meats I never would, that aside, that relaxed success is the bench mark I one day want to live by but with an eye on the scales. 😀🤗

yatesa12 when I say fudging the numbers.... so called low carb bars chocolate or otherwise for example: 3 net carbs (addicts head says yippee I can eat 6!) total carbs 22! Look at the ingredients and you can see why they are 22 ~ garbage for addicts boy do I know myself, and that’s what this is, for me.

Oh thank you for sharing this. I find myself so touched and so impressed by what you have accomplished. You are also so encouraging to others, I see that. It’s truly incredible what has to be gone through in this life, isn’t it.
Sounds like you’ve also nailed this sugar and carb addiction piece. I see how that needs to be treated like any other severe addiction.
Agree you’ll want to figure out a goal weight eating routine. You and I are both about 12 lbs from goal and so will need to be doing that at the same time if we drop these next 12 at anywhere near the same rate.
