I'm in it for the energy. I'm 54 years old and always feel tired. I'm too young to feel old. My priorities right now are to feel better, be healthy, think clearer and to lose 50 lbs. I am 5'4, 190 and would like to get down to 140. I just started yesterday. Wish me luck! 😃

  • I'm 55 yrs old . I'd like to lose 50 lbs also.  I'm 155 now but I'm only 4' 7"  .  I started the keto diet 2 weeks ago.  I have entered ketosis but my scaletells me I've only lost 1 lb.  I am in pants I couldn't wear 2 weeks ago.

Hi there...I started today. My daughter introduced me to the keto way. She claims to feel great with more energy and weight loss. She did warn of the headaches that might come and go. Im 58 yo ,5'6" 200 lbs...so I want to lose 45 to 50 . At this age I feel weight loss is slow even when I was working out faithfully. Im hoping this keto life style will shake things up. Good luck with your journey 😁

  • Hello, I’m almost 54, could use a 30lb weight loss, but am in it for the increase in energy and decreased inflammation. Eventually I will get back to little or no headaches again. Or at least last time I cut back on carbs that was the case. This first first week has been brutal though with the headaches. Guess I went to low to fast. 😬

bodybygc79c3  I had that feeling of keto flu that i had read about yesterday..omg it was brutal .My daughter is week 4 and didnt experience the same feeling. Wonder if it's age difference  or just the level of carb addiction.  Best of luck on the journey 👍😁

Hiya. I’m 57 years old and extremely overweight. I started 1 week ago. I just want to feel better and be relatively pain free. I gained a lot of weight in the past 3 years while my parents were both dying. Had heart bypass surgery 1 year ago exactly. I’m 5’6” and started at 280. I’m 270 today.
