Canned corn with 1.5g of carbs, is that possible?

I recently saw canned corn marked "light" that had only 1.5g per 100g of carbs. Is that even possible?

I thought corn itself is mostly carbs...

Are they flushing it somehow?

  • Corn should be avoided on a low-carb or Keto diet.

Carb Manager calculates the grade using a proprietary formula based primarily on the carbohydrates, fiber, sugar, and glycemic load for a single (default) serving of a food or recipe.
