KetoYoYo

Hi everyone!   I have been averaging about 20 g of net carbs for the past 3 weeks, as well as doing intermittent fasting (16:8).  The first two weeks, I had lost 11.8 pounds, but my 3rd week weigh in, I gained TWO pounds back.  I refuse to be discouraged by this, but frustrated non the less.  Please tell me I'm not alone.

Not a problem - we all fluctuate a bit now and then.  Maintain a long-range view: you’ve lost over nine pounds in three weeks.  Well done!

If you find yourself becoming more and more concerned over adding a few pounds, you might consider tracking Total Carbs rather than Net Carbs.  TC is a more strict view of carbs and keeps extras from sneaking in.

Hope this helps, and keep up the good work!

Thank you so much for the reply!  I'll definitely give the TC way a try if this pattern continues.  I exercise in addition to this way of eating (exercised before I started to watch my diet)

Hi!  I've been eating Keto for years.  I would advise that you make sure your not eating too much protein.  Your body will turn it into glucose and use that for fuel and kick you out of ketosis
