Anyone use Fitbit with CM? Help needed

Hello, 

I have noticed since syncing my Fitbit with CM that certain days l’m extra busy at work and get in a lot more steps etc.... I also fast 16 hours. So, by the time I eat I’m MINUS on my macros. It is showing more carbs available to me than I’m allotted a day. 30 carbs  per day and it will say 42 carbs left?????

How does this work for Keto. 

I am going to be going to the gym soon and would like to know how I’m supposed to use this information.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Fitbit seems to log total carbs not net carbs. I use it to sync exercise to CM and use CM for food log

  • Carrie do you have the CM option to deduct macros on? So, it automatically deducts through the day? I do and 
    I’m  confused on what I should really be eating as it seems I would be adding macros through the day because I’m getting quite a few steps in etc..just at work.

    Also, it Net carbs or total carbs better to track? 
    Im new to this and only use my Fitbit for exercise and log my food in CM.

  • Jyo you can set the app to not deduct macros and or calories. You have to go to settings on the app for this. I deduct calories because I can still see the calories eaten befor the deduct but it's each person's preference

    I do the same. Msame off calories on as I can see both full and net.

    It just seemed weird having the deductions on as it was telling me I could eat "more" by the  deductions. It would seem counteractive to me to do this. But, this is new to me so I wanted to ask. Thanks again. Hope you all have a great day!
