Hi I'm Kim, I'm 43. My current weight is 231.  I need to  lose a lot.  I don't like how I look and feel.  Everybody says I look great, but they haven't seen me naked.  I hate going to the store for clothes. I hate being a size 2x.  I started this journey about a week ago and I was 235.  I have lost 4 lbs.  But the last couple days I have been eating like crap.  I'm still in my carbs.  Oh I'm doing low carb not Keto.  Just eating like crap.  I don't know if it's because I'm menstruating or if I'm giving into that inner bad voice in my head. "hey look you lose weight let's go celebrate" you know the voice.  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thank you for listening to me rant.😃

    Hi Kim, congratulations on getting closer to your goal! Honestly I have really bad chocolate and sweets cravings during menstruation but the only thing that you can do is get rid of the bad foods in your living space and go out to the groceries and get a whole bunch of good ones. Just search up keto recipes online. there are so many! And if you want a certain dish or dessert or snack, look up if there is a keto version of it that you can make and have fun with it! Then write all the ingredients down and go get yourself the keto friendly ingredients. If you have a craving for bad food, the only thing you can do to stop yourself is through either mental power or just simply not having it available! Hope it goes well:)

  • I find jello LIGHT is a good sweet replacement. Especially with LIGHT whipped cream from a can. Almost no carbs. 

    I also think that you might be feeling “off” is because your body is adjusting to the diet. It should regulate itself soon. But I’m no doctor, it’s just an idea.
