If you are following a ketogenic plan( Fat 70%, Protein 25%, Carbs 5%) fat will be higher.  I try to stay under carb goal and meet protein and fat goal.  Congratulations on your progress 馃巿

    Congratulations!

I am also a newbie and trying to manipulate my macros. I hope I get the same results. My problem is too many calories and I always go over on fats and protein. I do stay well below in carbs tho.

Carbs should be as low as possible, try not maxing carbs.

Fats should be high and protein high as well if you lift.

Hit your fat goal and if you go over in protein no big deal.

I go for 1.8g/lb of body weight.
