I have been on the keto diet for 13 days. I just gave into a soda craving (Pepsi max) I drank around half a pint but now I cant stop being sick. Has this happened to anyone before??
Same happened to me. My stomach became very upset when reintroducing food I didn’t ate anymore like bread and sweets. The effect usually went away after a day or two. Keto is not a lifestyle that does very well with a cheat day.
Same happened to me when I had some candied bacon, I was so sick! I read it takes several months fir your body to become acclimated, once it is you can introduce sugars and not have the same reaction.
Interesting. I had to use Gatorade and a gel during the race today which is definitely not on the plan and started to have cramps but they went away so far. Hopefully nothing is coming later
No I am fine with Pepsi max -think it is odd that it is a A grade drink so not one to avoid but it has artificial sweeteners so seems to depend in the individual
