Need some helpful hints

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I’ve been tracking all my meals, making “Keto” friendly items and I’m always very low on carbs but at my protein and fat limits almost always before supper.  It’s making it hard for me to have a satisfying supper

I feel like I’m unbalanced some how. I’ve lost 6lbs my first week but not sure how to move forward!

Have you though of IF? This helps keep my protein in check. The other thing I sometimes do is log my dinner first (I usually know what I’m having) and then see what else I have left for the day. Helps keep me in check during the day so that I can have a satisfying dinner

Plan your whole day in advance and log in CM.  Or you might try skipping breakfast.  I do that so I can have a bigger lunch and dinner.

I agree preplanning will help you learn to  balance your day.  That way you can adjust portions or change to another food that better meets your Macros.  It gets easier.  Congratulations on your progress 🎈

  • All great tips. I think more planning is going to be key. I never used to have breakfast so maybe I’ll go back to that. I’m just worried that without something in the morning I’ll be too hungry by supper time.

Thank you for all the great ideas!

My issue is with the Fat. I’m pescatarian so it’s difficult to keep buying my seafood to eat. It gets expensive. I find when I don’t reach my Fat or protein I get hungry. My net carbs I have no problem with that. I just have to watch I don’t go over my net carbs.

Christine_Fj  have a bulletproof coffee in the morning instead of breakfast. It’ll help you to not be hungry until lunch

Strong1 Agree because calories could be considered a meal and you don't want to over do calories either.

2 tbs of unsalted good quality butter, 1 tbs mct oil, touch of stevia, and I add 1tbs cocoa powder.  You make a nice cup of coffee or hot beverage of your choice, at all the ingredients and blend.  I have a hand wand that makes it frothy when done whipping.  It really helps bring up the fat.  I also sometimes  add 1 tbs of whey protein powder.  But the basic is just the butter, mct oil and coffee.

a extra tablespoon of a nice flavored oil has been a great way for me to up a seafood meals fat count.  I have a basil infused one I drizzle over tuna or salmon over salad greens that is so good.
