HELP -Slow and steady weight loss. Macros?

Hi,

I really need some help.

i’ve been on keto since July 15th - 48 days. I am happy that I’m down 15lbs, but I feel like I should be losing weight faster? My body works quiet well with diet changes + working out combo.

Below are my measurements along with my macros.

female

25 yrs

starting weight: 234lbs

current weight: 219lbs

height 5’4

work out - 3x a week - intense workouts

when i first did my macros at my starting weight they gave me almost 1900cals, I could not keep up with that and had to cut down to 1500 calories. So when I customized my calories, it cave me these macros

5% carbs -19grams

25% protein -93grams

70% fats -116grams

1500 Calories. And I track everyday

HELP ME... I have lots of fat on me, how can I kick this up and lose more weight per week like most keto-ers

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Hi you are doing really well If you carry on losing at that rate it will he over 100lbs in a year. Everyone's weight loss journey is different as so many factors can affect it - current weight. age. exerise, metabolism  etc so as hard as it is you shouldn't compare your loss with others although it's so easy to do

The body can only metabolize 1-2 lbs. of fat per week, so I think you are right on track. If you were losing more than that, it would be water or muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat, so you might be gaining muscle from your intense workouts. I think you are doing great. I'll bet your clothes feel better.

It looks like you are on the right track for sure! Under 20 carbs a day is ideal so if you keep that up you should be fine. If you want to know what worked for me you can PM and ill share all that info with you.
