I haven't taken one bite/drink off in 4 weeks I am feeling better, looking better, sleeping better and as a bonus have lost 13lbs why would I confuse my body sending such mixed signals? Our body needs to know the only source of energy it has to burn is fats & proteins to get rid of our body fat. I think if this is your line of thinking, this probably isn't a way of life that would suit you. I realise you're only asking though 😀

I have found, after being truly fat adapted on ketogenic, I can have a carb up evening. Back to fats in the morning. If you do this earlier on your not going to fair well with the lifestyle. The cravings will come for starches and sugars. I have had pizza with carbs. I'll admit. But I feel like total crap when I eat to many bad carbs. Reminds me to not do it again for awhile. This isn't a once and awhile thing to try. It really really screw up hormones if your a woman, thyroid, and not to mention increase your cholesterol prob trifold. Oh and did I mention gallbladder issues possibly. Not saying you meant once in awhile but just caution. Your weight could actually increase if you cheat to much but everyone's body and metab is different. If I'm out with friends ( now lost 2 pant sizes and wish to have more fat loss), sure I'll binge a little sometimes. But I have grown to accept if I eat X, I will feel like %#^€, almost instantly now.
