Does anyone no of when on your menstrual cycle effects the level of ketones when testing on the pee strips? It seems as though it does for me.....before starting my cycle I was high levels now not showing much at all.
Starting 10-14 days before your period, your carb cravings go up. You retain water. You burn more fat and need more nutrients. You get tired as a result if you do not increase your macros a little bit. Your low ketone level on strips is a result.
