Macros and Calories

Hi,

I started Jan 7th and I have already lost 4.600 kg. I downloaded the app and I've been following my macros, but I find it really had not to trespass kcal limit (1200 for me) if I want to hit my fats and protein. I usually eat less fat and protein than the app says I have to, because if I add more fat or protein I go far beyond the 1200 kcal a day. Which is better: to hit my macros despite the calories or to restrict in order not to trespass calories limit. I have only lost 700g this week...

Hitting your macros should not take you over your calorie limit. There's something wrong in your settings. I'm set for 1200 calories, that is 15 grams of net carbs, 30 total. 75 grams of protein, 93 grams of fat. If you take your macros and multiply total carbs and protein by 4 and fat by 9 and the total isn't 1,200 then your macros are incorrect. Mine are slightly off, they add up to 1257. But I never eat all my carbs so I don't go over the 1200.

The app automatically adjusts your macros when you imput your exercise (it will give you more calories) . To see the calculations without the adjustments you need to remove that option in the “app settings”.   Look for -) Enable calories burned Deduction and Enable Macros burned deduction
