Question on excercise subtracted from net carbs?
Hi All, I'm puzzled at how Carb Manager is calculating the subtracted carbs from my daily net carb total. For instance yesterday my Apple Activity app states I did about 17 minutes of excercise which is likely just normal household chores, etc as I did not work out. Yet it shows in CM that those 17 minutes resulted in a subtraction of 13 carbs from my daily total.
Why would 17 minutes of random excercise result in such a large deduction in my carbs eaten for the day? Seems very much overly generous.
Any input is appreciated.

I do not set the app to subtract exercise. From what I've read these diet apps tend to grossly exaggerate the amount burned during exercise. People who "eat their exercise" end up eating a lot more than their exercise actually should have counted for. If you feel that you have exercised enough to earn some extra calories or you'll work out has left you ravenous, just eat extra, don't rely on the app to do the math. it's pretty amazing when you look at the amount of calories burned during exercise and compare it to the amount of calories burned just being alive. Being alive apparently is really hard work.
