Trouble eating much-can I be in ketosis if I just have the right ratios?

So first, I am bipolar, so easy things are hard, and especially right now as I am unstable. So...

I have been going through the day not being hungry and not eating much at all. I can eat so that the ratio of protein to fat is correct, and the carbs are under, but protein and fat are both way lower than the app says they should be. I do know that I lost weight the first week when I was doing it right, and this second week with the lower amounts of food, I have not lost any weight. That may be my answer! but, what do you think?

If you let your calories go too low you can start hanging on to weight. That might be your problem.

  • keep your fat up, I've heard people say particularly with a disorder such as yours the fat is what really helps the brains connecters. If you can tolerate it I take extra tablespoons of avocado oil to get me to my fat numbers, so important.

Eating a low-carb diet without increasing your fat intake means that you are likely getting most of your calories from protein. Your body can use protein as a source of glucose through the process of gluconeogenesis, and this can prevent you from entering, or maintaining, the metabolic state of ketosis.
