Fourth day on keto

So far,  I have met (or went under) my carb goal. As of this morning,  I lost 6 pounds.  DH has also lost close to six, too.  We are intermittent fasting in addition to keto and it seems to really work.  I guess Dr.  Jason Fung,  Dr.  Ken Berry, Dr.  Eric Berg and Dr.  Bozworth were all correct. Feeling great on the inside.  I also made Ketoade and we've sipped on that. Neither of us have experienced the keto flu. My liver is obviously dumping loads of water because I am frequenting the restroom. Keep Calm and Keep On.  By the way,  would love to make new keto friends to encourage each other on here.

  • I am finishing day three.  I have not seen results on the scale, but I feel less bloated and my clothes are more comfortable.

    sharonlynneemery That's great.  I am trying my best to stay away for the scale for a while.  I tend to get addicted to weighing myself and that is definitely an unhealthy habit for me.

    I am also 5 days starting 4 pounds down. Got a cold at onset so haven’t been too active this week. Good luck with your journey

    Day 4 for me! First 3 were really tough as I was craving anything bread or chocolate! I make my own bread and i miss the smell lol! I've met my carb goals so far. Today I feel like I've lost a pound or 2 but I'm sure its water cuz I've been peeing a ton. My head hurts today so I've been drinking water more. I do feel good just the headache

    Oh and I have not weighed myself either yet. I will also get addicted to the numbers on the scale and i want to adjust first to a new eating lifestyle

    How are you doing today?  I am on the same journey as you.  My SW 335. I would like to lose 120 pounds in 2019 but my goal weight is 150.

  • sharonlynneemery 3 days here too. Having a real hard time meeting protein and calorie goals as I dont eat meat... not weighed myself yet!

    Hi!  I’m on day six and feel good but confused because two nights ago the keto stix was finally getting red (suggesting I reached ketosis) but since then is back to pale pink ( suggesting not in ketosis).  I have lost a few pounds (2-3) but those were holiday pounds and the most recent few pounds always seem to go away easily.  I’m staying under 25 net carbs; do I need to go lower?  I currently weigh 276.
