Scale not moving!
Good morning ☺
Yesterday ended my second week of keto. I have lost 5 pounds, mostly the first week. I have been logging all I eat in the carb manager app and have stayed on track each day. Even though I haven't seen much movement of my scale I have noticed my pants are much looser and I feel better than when I started. Question is what could I be doing wrong that I'm not seeing the scale move more than 5 pounds?? I have also been using keto urine test strips which shows good levels of keytones..

I wish someone could give all of us the "magic answer". I have been doing Keto FAITHFULLY for about a month now - (even while on vacation in Florida week 3)- lost 7.5lbs the first week...stayed the same/lost .5 lbs since. I am as frustrated as the rest with this. Feeling like I should change something. I rarely eat 10 out of the 20 carbs allotted/ my proteins are usually 10 over, and my fats are about 10 over as well. I don't know what to do. :(

Vic You are on my friends list, so you can look at my daily log and copy my recipes if you'd like. I've been pretty successful so far, and this is my routine: I have 32oz hot tea in the morning, sometimes till mid afternoon. I usually put 2-3tbsp heavy whipping cream and Erythritol in it, when I feel like a treat I also add stevia and/or Equal (my favorite sweetener). I usually don't eat till dinner, if I eat midday it's usually an ounce of cheese or a spinach and egg salad with blue cheese and ACV dressing. I have a big dinner at 6-7pm. 7-8oz chicken breast, steak, pork chop or salmon, cooked in bacon grease, olive or coconut oil. I have 6oz cauliflower or zucchini with that. I put Chile con queso, butter, and/or homemade Alfredo sauce on the veggies. I frequently eat my meat with a sauce made of 1tbsp each sugar free BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar and MCT oil. If I am still short of protein, I'll have a cup of chicken bone broth with a scoop of Zhou collagen peptides and lemon juice (17g protein, 0g carbs or fat). If I'm short of fat I'll have one or two fat bombs (peanut butter, key lime, or dark chocolate, 1 carb and 8-10g fat ea), or a keto fudge brownie with a dollop of sour cream on top (2 carbs and like 15g fat.). I keep the broth in 1 cup containers, the fat bombs and the brownies in the freezer so I can easily add them any time.

I do not use any artificial sweeteners.. I mostly have eggs and bacon for breakfast. I faithfully use the carb manager premium app, I never go over the number of carbs allotted.
Breakfast is my largest meal and dinner is my smallest. Breakfast I eat between 10 and 10:30 AM, lunch at 1:30 ,dinner no later than 6:30..i do not eat again until breakfast the next day. I have a cup of coffee in the morning with a tablespoon of MCT oil in and 2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream blended in a ninja bullet...the oil is tasteless and it helps you not to be hungry..
The only exercise I currently do is walk a half hour on my lunch break on most days..
I also pre plan my meals every night I know exactly what I will eat the next day. I also cook meals for the week..i will make a dozen eggs and package of bacon and divide and package in individual containers. I do the same for lunches and dinners ..everything is planned ,cooked and ready to eat...this way there's no guessing what I will eat..
I hope this helps you☺

This is exactly my story… I’ve been doing keto for two weeks now haven’t lost anything but my jeans are loose in my stomach less bloated. I feel great, I’m sleeping well and my joints don’t hurt as much. I was a bit concerned because I’m following it to a T, I’m still committed and motivated and it helps to hear someone else is going through this.
