Set Calories Help

I’m frustrated with my journey. I lost 7 lbs in the first week...water weight. From there, I gained a few back although I kept my diet relatively the same. I’m walking daily, drinking up to a gallon a day, eating nothing processed, and sticking to my 5/25/70 Macros. I lowered my calories 1363 to 1195 in settings thinking it would push things along, and I also did 3 days of IF (16/8)...and gained almost a pound! 
I started this journey on May 24. I’ve lost 5 pounds total. I’ve measured weekly and see the difference in inches but only slightly. What gives? My husband is doing this too. He’s lost 12 pounds. I’m wondering if I should reset my calories but honestly don’t know how many I need to lose? Your guidance is greatly appreciated!

  • Same thing is happening to me. I lost the water weight and now I’m plateaued. I can’t seem to get into ketosis, but my fiancé is almost in it and we eat the same food throughout the day. Maybe a lot of the keto tips I receive are for men?

    Brookeamber So sorry you’re frustrated. I hear this a lot every place I read. I also know it’s a slow process and patience is important. I’m definitely in Ketosis, and have been since week 2. I’ve seen a chart that says it takes up to 6 weeks to start noticing changes. That’s making me want to not quit, but geez! I feel like I am wasting time!
