Quitting keto “sweet” treats

I’ve come to a place where I have to quit all keto “sweet” treats. All my favorites; quest hero bars, magic spoon fruity & peanut cereal, swerve cake, even stevia drops.
I keep having stomach issues, and more so I just feel like I’m addicted to these treats, like I was with the sugar and carbs.
It’s been three days and I’m still struggling. I’ve had some plain yogurt with raspberries and blueberries, that’s the sweetest thing.
Has anyone has gone through the same thing?
It’s kinda sad and hard for me to get rid of all the treats! But hopefully it will help me start to feel better and loose some weight.

I have cut all sugar and artificial sugar. Artificial sugar is much worse it messes with your metabolism. It took me about 4 days to feel right again for me to not crave sugar and feel the effects of not having it.

I have a friend who is very sensitive to erythritol & it messes with her stomach so she can't use it. Alot of premade foods use it. Others you can try are stevia, monkfruit. Avoid maltodextrin, maltitol, and some others on Keto. Hope that helps. Good luck!

I recently had to cut out all sugar replacements. I switched from sugar to stevia a few months ago, and for the past month I’ve had horrible wheezing, coughing, stomach bloating and upset and water retention. I learned that people with allergies to pollen and ragweed also will experience the same irritations to these things when consuming stevia products because the stevia plant is in the same family as ragweed. Once kicking it from my diet all unwanted symptoms vanished so I’m pretty sure that was the problem. I’ve been wanting to cut out all “sweet” things anyway because it’s easy for me to get off track on keto if I have anything that is sweet or sweet tasting, I have a horrible sugar addiction and when I have that kind of stuff it’s like an addict taking a little hit of their fav drug. Keto has made it easier for me to not crave the sweets as much so it’s helped cure that addiction some. I’ve found I don’t crave it or want it as badly. Good luck to you, I can only speculate that maybe you’re sensitive to the sweetners as I am. Makes a world of difference once you stop. :)
