First intro after one year.

Have lost over 60 pounds on keto, put 15 back on and am back to kick it back down. My wife was so impressed that she is now using carb manager to lose weight.  

Have to admit some of my weight increase was through strength training, muscle gain, but also fat as my pants started get tight. Since my weight loss I have been able to start jogging again and entered a half marathon placing 22 out of 85. Not bad for a 55 year old taking first in 55 to 59 year group.

Only advice I have is don't get discouraged, stick to it and the weight will go down. At my yearly check up my doctor was completely flabbergasted and all he could really say was cut down on fat but that was a stretch as my cholesterol was awesome. Good cholesterol was above average and bad cholesterol was in the lower range.

    Wow Chuck, thats fantastic. Lose weight, then run a marthon! And be 55! I'm 52 and tho I'm not into plus sizes, I couldnt imagine running. But I do miss hiking and is one of my motivations. I haven't hiked in years due to severe back pain. I'm hoping the weight loss will give me back mobility as much as I had you! Thanks for the inspiration!
