    After 2 successful years, I got bored the past 5 weeks with food and started binging on keto ice cream and Quest cookies.  Some water weight returned and really, just felt like crap! I’m convinced now it’s just not for me. I still kept daily carbs in check and calorie intake normal.  I’m back into my healthy routine and feel a huge difference in 2 days. Just posting for anyone wondering... a long time ago I was trying to research erythritol’s effects and found piles of contradicting info- was hard to find the facts I was looking for. Now I’m convinced, at least for myself, that I should steer clear of it. Of course it’s probable that some people aren’t as affected by it.  Just posting in case there’s someone else out there in the same situation.  I do great with sweet leaf liquid stevia though!

    I bought some Rebel keto ice cream-it was delicious! But I noticed my ketones dropped...I did eat the pint over two days.  I wonder if I can do a small serving every now and then and be ok. But...my lack of self control around ice cream is questionable. 😆

    Heidi That is interesting that you felt bad eating sugar alcohols. I do too and it actually stalls my weight loss. I found out that what they call “dirty Keto” is actually hindering weight loss.

    I have a weird intolerance to Stevia... I get awful belly ache and the liquid #2 🤣... so I like Monk Fruit sweetener and that’s worked for me.

    wamdesigns 😆I was ‘doing the dirty’ fir sure! Really just willingly gave up for a break without actually eating carbs/sugar.  Was so bored plus my schedule is all I’ve the place with the covid stuff so I just let myself eat it. Typically I eat very clean.  I’m back on track :)

    Stevia: I hear you there... I found different brands I do better or worse with.  But in the end, consuming very little of it! Thanks 😃

    If I remember correctly, monk fruit is super sweet so as in case of the Lakanto mix of monk & erythritol, the bulk is erythritol, it is the carrier of the monk fruit.  So if you say you use monk fruit, look at what it is mixed with.  If it was monk fruit alone are you using drops?  It would not be a bag and used in equal portions to sugar.
