2 weeks, No weight-loss!??

Hey all! My husband and I are at the 2 week mark with Keto.

He has lost 4.5kg and me... nothing????

We both eat the same (his portions slightly bigger); Keeping our carbs at 20g; Walking up to 2 hours a day, and trying to drink more water.

I haven't even cheated with food... Am confused and a bit disheartened :(

Thoughts???

  • ZoSandy I am in the same boat. Initially, I lost 8 lbs (water weight I guess) but have gained 7 back. I also don't cheat and have been staying under my my goal macro numbers. My carbs come from my non starchy veggies, nuts, and cream for my coffee. I kickbox 3 days a week and work on getting my steps in the other days. It's just so frustrating seeing so many people loose weight super fast doing Keto and getting zero results myself. Here's to hoping we see the scale move soon.

  • Same here, I’m going on 3 1/2 weeks, not only have I not lost weight but I’ve gain. I haven’t cheated, matter of fact I haven’t even craved any bad stuff.  Every person I know that has ever been on low carb/keto lost weight 2 days into regardless if it’s water weight I haven’t even lost not 1 ounce. 🤬😡

Sonny1 Hey, yeah we have just started fasting (eating for 8 hour window) so will see how that goes I guess! It's actually great, as there's only 2 meals to think about, not 3 :)

  • ZoSandy yeah I am not ready to throw in the towel yet. What I initially set up my profile in the app it asked me about my activity level. According to the description doing kickboxing for an hour a day 3 days a week fell under "moderate" and it gave me 1525 calories a day. So I thought nothing of it and trusted the app. I figured I'm supposed to eat more fat so that's why my calories are so high. And then after posting in here I thought hey maybe that's too high. So I adjusted my activity level to "low" and my calorie budget is a little over 1300 and my carbs are 17 g. So I have been working to stay under both my carb and calorie budget combined with internment fasting and the scale is starting to creep back down. I do mean creep. But it's moving again. Not going to lie though I'm super depressed about having to weigh out my tiny portion of veggies. Lol.
