Advice please

Hi everyone, I’m on my 3rd week of doing keto , I lost 5lbs first week weighed in today and put on 1lb , I’ve stuck to my net carbs and sometimes gone slightly under but gone over on my calories could this be why I have put on? Please help

    I swear I JUST wrote this!!!   Ive been doing Keto for 3 weeks, was down 11.8lbs, did my 3rd week weigh in this morning, and GAINED TWO!   I'm not going to get it stop me, but damnit!

    wrxymama I just did a fasting phase and dropped 11 lbs. obviously was water weight because I had a gain before and now I’m back down to where I was so I was frustrated but still sticking to it 😬😁you can do it!!!!!

    Not to worry - the human body can fluctuate up to 4-lbs per day (+/- 2-lbs).  That’s natural.  I always think that when I gain a few, I’m just going to enjoy the inevitable drop that I know is coming right around the corner.

    Just steady on and stay the course.  Keep your eye on the long term objective and you’ll be just fine.

    Each time I have a loss, my weight will bounce up a little and within a couple of days it goes back down again. I look at it as though my body is balancing. It could be that I am holding onto water. But I like to look at it as the body is balancing.  Keep with it!
