Carb manager and entering weights of foods

When using carb manager and adding something like a chicken leg or chicken quarter leg and thigh.

If I weighed a cooked chicken leg  at 5 oz and entered it into car manager as a chicken leg of 5 oz , I assume that's correct.

That is me weighing it with the bone and not mean 5 oz of stripped meat off the bone.

Can someone clarify that I'm doing it right.

Thank you.

Here's another example I just made 3 lb of short ribs in my pressure cooker when they were all done the bones fell right out of them I put them into a container store them in the refrigerator so I'll just reheat them when I eat them. So there was 4 short ribs that's about 12 oz a peace, but now that they've been cooked and no bone in them two of them equal 12 oz and when I am entering 12 oz of short ribs in the carb manager does that mean before I cooked them or after I cook them without the bone.

I have the same question - especially for items like whole chicken which will always have bones.
